Back to the RCBL Home Page Don Lemish is in his 1st year as Commissioner after spending 4 years as Vice-Commissioner of the Rockingham County Baseball League. Prior to serving as Vice-Commissioner, Don was an assistant coach for the Clover Hill Bucks from 2004-2006, helping lead the Bucks to two RCBL championships and one pennant.  From 1999-2001, Don served as the Director of Athletics and Athletics Consultant at Longwood University.  Previous to his tenure at Longwood, Don served as the Director of Athletics at James Madison University from 1993-1999 and as Vice President for Advancement from 1987-1993.  He also served in vice president positions at Longwood, East Carolina University, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Don umpired Big Ten and Mid-American Conference college baseball from 1972-1977 and various other levels of amateur baseball from 1962-1982.  Don holds Bachelor’s (1965) and Master’s (1968) Degrees from Ball State University, and is a graduate of the Institute for Higher Education Management at Harvard University (1986). Don played amateur baseball from 1957-1965, first at Auburn (IN) High School and then in the Northeastern Indiana Connie Mack and Stan Musial Leagues while attending Ball State.
