Back to the RCBL Home Page Karl Olschofka was the man most responsible for the longevity and success of the Rockingham County Baseball League.  After moving from New York City to the Harrisonburg area in 1949, Olschofka was involved in the Rockingham County Baseball League for 5 decades.  Olschofka, who was the long time Commissioner of the RCBL, held nearly every post on the Board of Directors including Commissioner, Vice Commissioner, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian.  Olschofka, the long-time owner and operator of the Blue Stone Inn restaurant, was an avid New York Yankees fan.  His passion for the game of baseball and the RCBL will never be forgotten.
